What to expect: 

This is a easy-going adventure ride to kick things off. The route follows public gravel roads, with some sections narrowing down to single-lane.

Ride at Your Own Pace

Download the GPX file in to your navigation device and ride the route at your own pace. No need to sit in someone else’s dust, and you can stop whenever you like to take in the views, grab a photo or have a breather.

With the GPX loaded, you can simply rejoin the route whenever you’re ready, without worrying about losing the group.

Regroup Stops

I’ve included two regroup points along the route, giving everyone a chance to stop, have a 10–15 minute break, catch up with the group and make sure everyone is ready for the next section.

A Few Tips

•  Public roads — keep left.

•  Watch out for wandering stock.

•  Give yourself some space — especially on dusty sections.

• Load the GPX before you head out and let the navigation do the work.
